JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

This role is responsible for

• Lead CE Hydraulic commodity and responsible for Implementation of sourcing strategy for Construction (CE) segment
• Global strategic sourcing alignment considering varied sourcing requirement for other regions/subregions.
• Commodity includes CE Hydraulics

 Major Accountability:

Primary and Secondary duties:

• Supplier selection, negotiation, contract establishment in line with local/global strategy for new model/current product parts within target cost and time for assigned commodity parts.
• Ensuring Purchasing processes and system are followed to establish business contracts with suppliers as per DoA
• Leading annual cost negotiations (YOY, RM fluctuations, commercial cost reduction etc;) and support VA/VE initiatives with BCG team
• Managing material cost including raw material, economics, productivity etc;
• Budgeting of material cost, capital & revenue and monitoring of budget on a continuous basis
• Engaging key stake holders, both global & domestic, in developing a collaborative strategic sourcing plan for commodity & long term agreements with strategic suppliers
• Monitor, manage, and address the risks of supply base in delivery, finance & capacity

 Minimum Qualification:

 Education/Qualifications (Min): Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Essential experience and skills:

1. 8+ years of experience in Off-highway/ Automotive/ Industrial industry preferred.
2. Knowledge of basic Hydraulics is desired.
